{"id":21,"date":"2015-12-22T17:23:27","date_gmt":"2015-12-22T17:23:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/s571036973.onlinehome.us\/index\/?page_id=21"},"modified":"2019-10-09T16:21:22","modified_gmt":"2019-10-09T16:21:22","slug":"how-we-work","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cadacameroon.org\/index\/how-we-work","title":{"rendered":"How We Work"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>How We Work<\/h1>\n<hr class=\"topdivider\" \/>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-106\" src=\"https:\/\/cadacameroon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/mission2.jpg\" alt=\"mission2\" width=\"219\" height=\"276\" \/>We are committed to searching out the needs and challenges in the communities we work in, then seeking to address them.<\/li>\n<li>We seek to serve as a catalyst to make things happen.<\/li>\n<li>We work with governments as well as NGOs and churches.<\/li>\n<li>We partner with other indigenous organizations to help make their vision a reality.<\/li>\n<li>We convene gatherings of people from different walks of life to work on particular issues.<\/li>\n<li>We continually search out needs in the communities we serve to explore ways we can help meet them.<\/li>\n<li>We provide expertise and experience in the local community.<\/li>\n<li>We seek to complement &#8211; not to compete or duplicate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"heading2\"><strong>Our work is aimed at:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li class=\"text\"><strong>Facilitating <\/strong>and <strong>strategizing<\/strong> for maximum impact within the community.<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\"><strong>Funding <\/strong>the indigenous efforts as our means permit through CADAC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"heading3\">Strategic Objectives:<\/h3>\n<p><em>CADAC&#8217;s strategic objectives are designed to provide solutions that result in individual and community enhancement:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li class=\"text\">Enhance holistic health and quality of life of children, youth and families.<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Provide employment and entrepreneurship opportunities with emphasis on empowerment through micro-finance.<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Mobilize and leverage resources from internal and external sources; including individuals, private foundations and development donors.<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Build and strengthen leadership capacities for sustainable development.<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Build youth knowledge and skills training in information technology.<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Empower people in communities we serve with skills for self-sufficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"heading4\">What we do:<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li class=\"text\">Small business initiatives (micro-finance)<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Unreached People Groups<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Medical Outreach<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Agricultural for sustainable development<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Educational support to less privileged Students (through various forms of sponsorship)<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Youth Development &amp; Leadership Formation<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Assistance to inmates<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Short-term missions<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">CADAC (Community Awareness &amp; Development association Cameroon)<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">Running of orphanages and support to vulnerable children<\/li>\n<li class=\"text\">After School Programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How We Work We are committed to searching out the needs and challenges in the communities we work in, then seeking to address them.
